fanart contest?

this summer i'm thinking about conducting a fanart contest. the theme would be 'opposites attract', and participants would be able to draw fanart for bleach, death note, and/or various other categories in order to convey to me that theme. i will award the top three various prizes for their effort(s). details are vague now, i know, but right now i just want to find out if people are actually interested before i bother going out and buying goodies for everyone.
winners will receive:
- 1st place - doujinshi, plushie, mini poster, drabble with pairing of their choice (by me)
- 2nd place - plushie, mini poster, drabble with pairing of their choice (by me)
- 3rd place - keychain and/or small figurine, drabble with pairing (by me)
possible categories:
- death note, bleach, kuroshitsuji, ouran high school host club, sonic the hedgehog
guidelines/other notes:
- obviously, for winners, since i will be sending you physical packages in the mail, you will have to be OK with giving me your address. international participation is OK, although i've never sent packages overseas. we'll find a way ^_^
- the characters have to be OPPOSITE. i'm talking L x Misa, Ulquiorra x Orihime, Knuckles x Amy, all that jazz. the less canon, the better.
- het, yaoi, and yuri especially - all welcome.
- INCEST IS GRAND.
- artwork cannot be recycled! all entries must have been made specifically for this contest! they are not allowed to be hosted anywhere prior to this announcement!
- don't give me LxLight, PLEASE. although you can argue their sizable differences, it's mostly just a personal preference of mine. so... no kthx.
- the doujinshi will probably be erotica. if you don't want that, i'll try to find something G-rated, but that's considerably trickier. we will work out these things as we get to them!
- i will cater to the winner's whims. if the first place winner did fanart for bleach, i will give them bleach-related doujinshi, etc. same applies for any other category that may win.
- there is a limit of three pieces per participant allowed. they don't have to be all from the same category (ie. you could do one for bleach, one for death note, one for sonic.) only one piece per participant will allowed to make the final tier (so you can't place both 1st and 3rd place. we have to give everyone a fair shot at winning, after all!)
- crossover pairings OK, as long as they both place in the aforementioned categories. (IE - Ulquiorra, from Bleach, and Misa, from DN.now i sort of want to see this)
- there will be two other judges to help me decide the winners, as to avoid bias. (names to be announced later.)
- tentative submission deadline: july 1, 2009. winners will be released the 6th or 7th. prizes expected to be sent out by early august.
